  • ​Performs work involving preparing, maintaining and updating real estate records and tax maps; assisting the public.

  • Reads and interprets deeds; determines property tax listing and location.

  • Enters ownership transfer information into tax database, research deeds, wills and other legal documents to determine tax ownership listing, location of property lines, acreage, etc.

  • Creates and distributes tax maps as needed.

  • Assures that cadastral maps and the online GIS maps are current and updated on a regular basis.

  • Manages a caseload of clients who are living in the shelter, diagnosed with a mental health issue, behavioral disorder, or pervasive developmental disorder.

  • Provides targeted case management services to clients who meet eligibility requirements. Services include intake and assessment, individual service planning, crisis and support planning, coordination and advocacy through linking clients with resources, monitoring and evaluation.

  • Provides a range of on-site services including admission, supervision and ongoing support to clients in our emergency shelter locations.

  • Establishes trusting relationships and provide direct services with a goal of teaching clients to develop independent living skills and the skills needed for self-sufficiency and stability.

  • Provides assistance in accessing and applying for state and federal housing resources, including section 8 housing choice voucher program, mod rehab, BRAP, Shelter Plus Care, Home-to-Stay/STEP, local low-income housing, etc.
